Bertolli
I was hoping *fingers crossed* hoping that I wouldn't have to make spaghetti sauce from scratch each time we wanted a pasta dish. On a whim I checked the sauces at Sam's Club. And found one! Bertolli Organic Olive Oil, Basil & Garlic sauce. First time to eat it is this evening. Hopefully it's delicious.

Soooo...What was the verdict? Was it safe? I called them, and they had no answer for me and since we haven't weeded it all the way out of his system yet, we won't be able to tell if it affects him.

Yes! We have been eating this sauce since this post and have never had an issue. I purchase the 3 pack at Sams Club and check the label each time for ingredient changes but as of about 3 weeks ago it was still safe. And it's delicious. I use it for all "red sauce" needs. Pizza, pasta, cal-zones and so on. It has a very light flavor so I often spice it up a little more for pastas.

PS Be careful! There are similar Bertolli sauces that are NOT safe. ONLY the Organic Olive Oil, Basil & Garlic sauce is safe.
